While the Coronavirus is still present in our everyday lives in Belgium, the People’s Republic of China has successfully contained the COVID-19 outbreak. Now that the pandemic is in remission in some countries, China is gradually re-opening its borders. Moreover, research has shown that the consumer market in China shows signs of recovery.
What does this current situation mean for the international business community in China? In this context, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC), VOKA Limburg and Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) are delighted to organize a webinar on Opportunities and Challenges Ahead of China’s Post COVID-19 new normal on September 29, 2020, starting at 10.30 CET (16.30 CST).
Ms. Eva Verstraelen, Economic Representative of Flanders in Guangzhou, Mr. Marc Struyvelt, Economic Representative of Flanders in Beijing, and Mr. Bart Boschmans, Economic Representative of Flanders in Shanghai will discuss the current economic situation in China, travel restrictions (international & domestic) and financial support of the Flemish government for companies who are doing business with China.
